The lockdown has been  declared across the country from march 23, 2020 against the backdrop  of the covid – 19 epidemic, which has now spread across the world and till continued .Due to this lockdown, all markets, educational institutions and industrial estate have been closed ,meaning that all economic activities have been closed. This has also affected the employment of the general public and their livelihood has been cutoff. Due to this unprecedented situation, the general public is facing extremely difficult financial difficulties along with the covid – 19 epidemics.

On behalf of Ashray Social foundation we are helping to these people those who are trapped in this bad situation.

Sidha Patrika, Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Yojana Registration and Pradhan Mantri Mandhan Yojana Guidance Workshop organized today on 22/07/2022 on behalf of Lok Parishad and Ashraya Social Foundation Sevabhavi Sanstha and Panvel Tehsil Office for the purpose of rehabilitating and upliftment of high risk groups such as female sex worker, bar girls & Transgender. 30 beneficiaries benefited from this program. The President of the organization and his colleagues worked successfully.

District Authority Committee Raigad, District Women and Child Development Office Raigad, District AIDS Program Officer, Raigad Lok Parishad and Ashraya Social Foundation Sevabhavi Sanstha Panvel organized a program on 20/07/2022 at Panchayat Samiti Hall Panvel to educate women involved in unethical trade. Was organized. Chief guest  of today’s program Mr. Mr. Amol Shinde, Secretary District Authority Committee Raigad, Mr. Madhukar Bodke Sir, District Supply Officer, Mr. Vinit Mhatre Mr. and Mr. Ashok Patil Sir, District Women and Child Development Office, Raigad, Mrs. Dipti Ramrame Madam, Security Officer, Khopoli Hon. Mr. Vijay Talekar, Tehsildar Panvel, were present.

In the said program, District Supply Officer Mr. Madhukar Bodke Saheb gave guidance regarding to issue the ration card to the women doing unethical business.

Mr. Vijay Talekar said that he will organize a workshop regarding to issue the Aadhaar card, ration card and voting card to the women belong to sex work.

Women and Child Development Officer Mr. Vineet Mhatre Saheb gave information about useful schemes to the said women.

On behalf of United Way Mumbai, through Asharya Social Foundation Charitable Organization and Lok Parishad Charitable Organization, the children of women engaged in unethical trade are provided with school bag, long book, 100 pages note book, drawing book, pencil, ball pen, pad, scale, stem rubber, cello as educational materials. Step, tiffin boxes etc. were distributed.

President of the organization Mr. Ashok Gaikwad and all the workers of the organization were present.

Ashraya Social Foundation has been working for many years on behalf of Seva Bhavi Sanstha and Lokparishad Sanstha for the upliftment and rehabilitation of female genital mutilators, bar girls, transgender and other poor women. The organization is making efforts to enable all these elements to stand on their own feet. Today, on the auspicious occasion of Diwali, the activity of making Use and Throw Patrawali is being started.

Ashraya Social Foundation and Lok Parishad Panvel both made efforts to provide voter ID cards to make new voters aware and exercise their right. Especially marginalized groups like prostitutes, transgender and bar girls should be able to exercise their right to vote. For this, on behalf of the organization, under the guidance of District AIDS Control Officer, Tehsil Office Panvel and Raigad District Officer Office, a work shop has been organized and applied for voter ID card, in recognition of this special work under the chairmanship of Dr. Mahendra Kalyankar Sir, District collector of Raigad and Chief Guest. The certificate was given by actress Smt Prathanna Behere.
